Does editing a ship's DCR in the shiplist affect anything besides it's number of Spare parts?

True. Is there a damage control track to take damage in SFC? My first guess would be, "no".

Like Double internals ain't enough?  I don't think loosing a few would be that bad.  

Just want to make sure that if we lower DCR ratings to control Spare Parts on D2 that we aren't going to get bit in the butt worse than when this is attempted with mission scripts.

If it's all the same to you, I'd prefer to leave the number of internals as they currently are, thank you very much.  The point of this exercise is to lower the number of spare parts ships can carry, not the number of internals.
