The Shadow Star really isn't a Minbari vessel, but rather, a Shadow Thrall ship. When White Star 398 was under construction, the faction of Minbar that wanted to ally themselves with the Drahk stole the ship when it was still missing weapons and shields, and took it to the Drahk. The Drahk refit the ship with Shadow Technology, making a menacing ship that much worse. The ship lacked all Vorlon tech, so the Shadow tech took to the ship without a problem. Armed with 4 medium phasing pulse cannons, and a Light Molecular Slicer, this ship was the death of many White Stars, and the non-Vorlon tech variant Black Star II's before its destruction at the hands of 2 Ranger Rath'Dials.
