Catalyst 3.8 drivers whack out SFC3

I'm just surprised not to see anyone comment on this.  I've got a Radeon 9600 Pro and the latest drivers remove all weapon effects from the game.  You can't see any torps or phasers etc... Found one other person with this problem at the Dom Wars mod forums.

Well at least you can install that driver. Everytime I try to it gives me an error message. I gave up.

Easy to install Corbo.  Send me a PM and I can tell you what to do.

Man, that sounds BAD!  Now you got me shaking, my uncle just upgraded the drivers on the best machine in the place!  Is it just the drivers then, any way you think we could fix that?  Still got the other machines, they just aren't as high in specs.  Thanks for the heads up.

You can always do a manual driver update, you know.

with catalyst drivers is it best to uninstall the old drivers then edit them from the registry before you install the new catalyst drivers
