Who here knows where I can find a LWO Export Plugin for 3ds Max, i need it for my Video Comp Project...PLEEEAAASSSEEE

I know, lightwave can handle 3ds, but it doesnt seem to be working, so please, any help would be good

I didn't know you needed a plugin? I thought I saw lwo in the list on my max and all I ahve for plugins is taldrens mod importer and the bc exporter.

max cant (well its retarted) export files to lwos correctly unless its a very basic model in question here....

well heres the thing

Ive got Thu11s firehawk in MOD format...Great, Lightwave (what they have at school) cant handle MOD
So i export it as a 3ds file from MAX and import it in Lightwave Modeler and export as a LWO
I load it into Lightwave scene editor and it works dandy, right until I Render a single frame...the it crahes faster than a lead balloon...

Any ideas?

Perhaps if we knew what result you were trying to achieve we could offer some advice. Are you trying to make renders? Output as an avi file? Something else? Is there a specific format or program that you have to use to achieve the objective?

I want to export as an AVI file from Lightwave.

I have an animation set up in Lightwave fine...The textures on the Killerhawk even show up
but the moment i hit that Render Button it goes Kaput...

Im not sure what version of Lightwave Were running, but ill double Check

Heres a link to a LWO v6.5 Importer into 3ds max 4,

All Plug-Ins are LWO version dependant,
The best hope is to export as .3ds format,

Most 3d modelling programs except the .3ds format

Check your video settings in Lightwave. I have never used LW defore but in #DMax ther are settings that have to jive with your video card when you render as an AVI.
