Are folks aware of the upcoming game, "Star Trek: Shattered Universe"?

It's a console game for Playstation 2 and Xbox.

One really neat thing is players will not pilot capital ships, but fighters, even (if this info is accurate) a Klingon BoP.

But the REALLY nifty thing is, most if not all of the ship designs are from SFC but in greater detail!

The game might be cool, but as for the models they're using.......all I can say is "Where do they find these people?"

The geometry looks good, but the textures are not up to par with what many people at these forums can do. The art director especially should be flogged.

Yeah, I've been out and out spoiled by the quality of models right here.

But I do like th enew perspective of the game. Now we'll have the option of playing capital ships AND fighters.

Which reminds me of another game (not Star Trek but similar in theme to Shattered Universe), Battlestar Galactica for Playstation 2 and Xbox. It takes place some 40 years before the start of the TV series and players fly Vipers against Cylon Raiders, Basestars, etc. The graphics look better in that game, IMHO.
