Hey, ol' man

To help the guys out here, could you post some pics or a general idea of what you would like built? That would give the modelers an idea if it's something they can/want to tackle.

It's a CLCX, right? Sounds pretty cool to me.

my apologies for the delay in responding...  work has really been both time consuming and stressfull  (60 hours + the last 2 weeks ...  averaging 55 +  for several months now.  )

I have  several picts  to choose from.  We will do a consolidation of them and post soon.  We are also building a plastic mod and have the primary hull at aprx 75 to 80% done.

Thanks for your interest.

As requested..  some picts and specs ...  my apologies for the lack of tech expertese .  There are a couple things that will need to be changed when the real 3-D is done.  I do know enough about drafting to tell  ya  that there are some over sights on the front and rear views of the naucells.  And I dont have the proper programs to give ya a better review of the weapons arcs and the shields...  ( all is borrowed stuff fromt Taldren of course courtesy Photo Shop  ...  cut and paste ...  etc ... etc...  )

I hope this helps.  I will check back here later.  Either send me a PM...  or E-mail ..  which ever is good for you.

Thanks again

Hey darkdrone if you need textures let me know I just have some warp engine textures to finish working on then I will be free for about a week. I can look over anything you set up and see what I can do with them, then send it back to you. I just about finished my Reliant (thing had more little details then I thought!) and when it is done I have a Frigate to do that i do not want to start.

Reliant Pictures! After I redo the warp engines, I hate them currently, I can start on that one or finish it up. I also am redoing the Banting, with and without the Upper photon launchers, and am down to its engines also. All this work should be done by the weekend, so if you can catch me on MSN we can work it out.

Gentlemen ..  I'm greatly humbled...  Thanks so much for the work.  I knew  that the unsual hull structure would be a little hard to come by...  mostly due to the "oversized engineering section"....  I knew it might be tough to come up with that one.  As well, the warp drive naucells are  a bit curious  ...  yes they were from  TOS ..  TNG   and my own idea of doubling the warp drives on each side ...  hense the unusual idea of the warp field generators going across form side to side on each naucell as well as in groups of 2's...  (please note there are 4 on each naucell)

These comments are in no way ment to be critical.  I am deeply appreciative  that you have taken time to do this.  Once completed we will then load this into a seperate disk for safe keeping along with a SFC ship list so it can  be used.

If for any reason you are able to add the oddly designed concept to the current warp naucess you have  that would be great.  Also ..  just a suggestion...  see if can move the pilons they are on futher to the out side..  ( it gives itthe look of an over all lower profile)

AS for the markings ...  if you can get the 9th fleet logo (used in my sig)  on there some where ( I'm thinking on the pilons somewhere)  and its number as "NCC-1952"  (only if that is NOT TOO inappropriate with the SFC cannon)

BTW...  once we get the plastic version fo this done we will post some picts

Again ..  thanks

If I had the programs available I would enjoy the challange of helping some of you on some of your projects.  I can still do conceptual ideas ..  though they be cut and paste stuff..  But hardly the class of work you can do...

I'm starting to ramble...   great stuff guys.  We'll pop back in later.

Again Thanks !!!

atheorhaven now has all the files to finish her off for name and numbers should not be too long there

if we drop the  pilons lower the torptube will hit the bride when it fires i did tr and get it as lower as you had it only other way i see if we make the bridge smaller?

np adding your logo we do that too

My apologies for the inadequate description of the naucell and pylon relocation...  I hope you dont mind my taking the liberty of doing a little cut and paste to illustrate what we were talking about.  I know you have already spent a great deal of time on this project...  sooo if we are speaking out of turn ...  just let me know.  At any rate here is what we had in mind...  (it should be futher noted that we realize that this will also affect the positioning of the pylons in the area that they are phyically attached to the primary hull as well.)

Again ..  my thanks for your indulgence and your paitence.

Okay, it's almost finished.. got it almost complete yesterday, just have to add the Fleet logo to the pylon.

(doing this image post from my ISP page which has only a teeny amount of space)

Should be complete by tonight... and sorry for the delay, between getting set up for my new job and trying to get my van running (and in-laws in town),  I've not had an excessive amount of time for much else..

Alright.. it's done, as well as two variants for release.  I wanted Ol' Buzzard to have the only copy of his ship name.
I'm making arrangements to send this to him so he can fly it...

I've also added the 9th Fleet logo to the ship as well.  Here's some shots..

So all I need is a reply from one person, and it's flying over to him.  Then I'll do a general release with the other shipnames..  USS Vancouver, USS Seattle, and the USS Boston.

Planet textures?  I should be able to handle that... the one thing I'd need is a sample SFC 3 planet in email though.. then I'll be able to do stuff for all three versions.

This'll be one of the 20 projects I do before my hiatus...
