This puppy more closely follows the 'official' schematics of the Federation class and imo, has a more streamlined look to her. She's online at DRS now side-by-side with the rest of the fleet.

Please pardon the nitpicking but the USS Federation is NOT a FASA Trek ship. I wish it were, it would have saved me many arguements with my FASA Trek group about the overall ship stats back in the mid 1980s...

Thank you for sharing this WZ45!

Facking Nightsoft! LOL site's down again, will try later, can't wait to get it. The TMP Federation is from SOTSF IIRC, though I'm sure KF could tell us exactly where it came from.

Hi Lestat
Your Partially right Todd Guenther Who created SOTSF did the tmp version of Franz Josephs DN Design. First as a single page poster then a series of drawings in the Mag Starship Design and a few size comparison posters. SOTSF VOL1 dealt only with cruisers and frigates, Vol 2 dealt with Perimeter Action ships.  I'd hope that Vol 3 would be about dreadnoughts & destroyers if he ever releases a new vol.

Some of the best modeled red X's I've seen to date.  Your technique is marvelous.

If there even is a server admin. I won't comment any further on the server being down again, I've overextended my use of colorful metaphors already.

y'arr, 'tis a fine spacegoin' wessel, er, I mean vessel... I'm no communist I swear! LOL

Sea Captain to Chekov in one sentence Great work WZ, BTW would you consider a tiny alteration to your K'T'inga? I posted a thread about it, I want someone to make a C7 like Atra's one but using your K'T'inga, it'd basically amount to extra impulse engines, some reinforcement on the neck, big disruptor thingies on the fronts of the nacelles and an extra pod on top of the shuttlebay for the extra drones, though I'm sure you've seen it already k...

Actually (as posted in the other thread) I have my own C7 in the works, with the added challenge of making it not look like a duplicate of Atra's as I don't like tampering with other modders' designs.

WZ, I generally hate the three-nacelled Starfleet vessels because they look like the artist just got lazy- you know, drew a third engine on a Connie and calls it a DN or BB if 4 nacelles and I won't even download them...

... but this one is a work of art!  It doesn't look like a cheap "slap on 'nother engine job"; every section seems to flow together as if it was so planned from the ground up, as if the original Constitution classes had not existed!

Very nice job, sir!
