I think they are mounted at the tips, I'll have to watch some episodes with them again...and I think they are accepted as being a form of disruptor...

But that isn't canon as far as I know.

Well, I'm not sure where they got their info, but this site says that the Marauder carries 10 high powered phaser arrays, 2 photon torp launchers and possibly some plasma disruptors.  Another site just says they use powerful plasma weapons, which would back-up the use of plasma disruptors.

I'm can't really find any info on exact loadouts, but they seem to have acquired their weapons tech through trade and theft, so they really don't have anything of their own.  There was talk on these forums, prior to SFC3 that the Ferengi had used a missile of some sort against the Enterprise in an episode, but obviously that cannot be done in SFC3.

The Ferengi did use a Missile in one episode.

This shocked Picard that the Ferengi were using a Missile to try and destroy a Wormhole.  But they didn't want it to hit their shuttle, so they shot it down.  In the first episode they fired some kind of whitish blasts that looked sort of like a Torpedo or a disruptor (bolt fire, not beam).  That's all I learned about it, but it was apparently supposed to have a Breen-like weapon, but it was never used

The Ferengi were never really used to their full potential.  They were great in "Encounter at Farpoint (mentioned as a threat, but never seen).  It was the Last Outpost that ruined them.

they got plasma torpedos and phasers/disrupors.i think like cardassians they didnt got most powerful torps/ph/dis but at least they have a greater pool to select from.
simply look at BOTF and youŽll see some specs.

I have a job and university during the week but my weekend should be free.  Email me if you want to arrange the details if you too can make it then.  Time difference shouldn't be a problem since you are in Germany and I am in the UK.
I do prefer to take the Cardassians, how about you?
