Just for those waiting for it.. had a chance to talk to Redragon today.. I grabbed the text of the conversation to let you guys know what was up. This, ladies and gents, is someone else experiencing "Great modelling Hole" Syndrome.. feeling that his work is unnoticed..

good to hear. One of these days I need to chat with redragon again anyways. I can't seem to convert his aeon succesfully. It either doesn't light or is partialy inside out and untexutred, I dunno what is going on. I love that little thing. The best and only aeon around. I lost his rhode island too.

Then you've obviously not gone through my own site before have you?

You'll find the Aeon up there. Please read the credits, and if you convert it to BC, please post a screenie. (Some of the textures used in the conversion were done by myself).

I've also done the Rhode Island.. but I noticed that I never did put up the link for it. I really need to update my pages..

How does one get in touch with Reddragon anyway? I want to bash his breen ships myself and use them in my mod but I can't fined his site or a valid email addy for him

I'm glad that Alec has brought us this good news, I personally am a big fan of RedDragon's creations - he's the only modeller that I know of that has made such excellent original Dominion models - he gets my vote anyday!

thanks for the ships dude. Though, in the future, if you send me a file you should catch me on messenger or something, I nearly deleted them cuz hotmail placed them in junkmail for some reason. I noticed after I emptired the folder my hotmail wasn't in the red anymore so I hit back and noticed them.

Yeah, I hear you on that, i get this all the time with my Hotmail account. :/

(ps: the reason I wanted you to check the credits on the Aeon though is because I created some of the textures in that ship release myself, they aren't all just Redragon's. Otherwise, this version of the Aeon would've turned out like all the others in game and not had things textured or showing up.)

One of these days I need to catch up with you on IM... I've been meaning to ask someone about MPE.

Thanks Atheorhaven, I already made a bunch of kitbashes, but I'm hesitant to release them in my mod without his permission. Problem is I can't get ahold of him!

Ok, I have some of the the original 3ds. 3ds are a pain to convert anyway.
Also, did you have the same problem with the arcadia? The arcadia I had ported didn't have visable torpedo tubes, although I assumed itw as a result of haveing the low poly versiona dn that visable torpedo tubes was in the cgi version only.

Quite likely..

I did have to do up some textures for more than one.. but that's okay. It's part of what makes conversions fun and challenging..

Korah and James, did talk to him for a little bit today and asked permissions for both of you..

(asked about Korah's kitbashes)
