I'm sure you don't need me to tell you what i think - but I particularly like types 00-04, 07 and 09.
You already know which ones I'm after anyway, so I'll say no more.

Think you should use WZ45 Titan Saucer type style from 02 and put it on the secondary hull of 00 with the Sov style textures and you will have an interesting ship

Uh...You mean My Titan???
J/K I designed and meshed the Titan...WZ treaked the mesh and textured her(masterfully)

well don't tell me guys...lobby to your local modeller/meshmaster or kitbasher:)

BTW I am always open for a collaborated idea or design

I would love to help out but can not model wotrth a ****. I can not even apply textures to models yet (well have only tried once and after only 1 day of downloading and installing Milkshape. I will eventually get there but it will take time, and probably plenty of it. I do think that the idea would make for a nice looking ship.

I agree...and it is not a problem...I just want to throw some ideas out to you guys...to spark some interest...or to work on a project or two with some of the new guys as well as the veterans...

BTW I don't just do feds...lol...but I like them...I have a ton of Rommies, Klings, Gorn, Tholians, etc...and if I don't then I am open to ideas to do them...so if anyone has an idea...lets get this ball rolling

The Azel is an interesting way around the rule for getting the coils line of site will still having an over/under design. I'll be waiting for that one. However, The cardboard model doesn't seem to match the drawing for the ventral nacelle position, so I like the drawn version better. It makes more sense. The armstrong looks like a rip-off of the premonition, I don't like it due to the excessivly tall deflector system and the extra section under the engeneering hull. I think it would look better with simply a slightly larger engeneering section, less wierd of a deflector (maybe shorter and more square) and the nacelles could still come out around the bottom like the old belesarius tmp cruiser. IMHO could fatten up the nacelles a bit. As for the crude sketckes near the top, I'd hafta say my favorite one is 7 fallowed by 5 and 8 though I pretty much like them all.

I'm glad someone's tackling this, because I was getting tempted to throw in my hat, and I should really get my current SFC model projects polished off before I take on anything new. Great Designs, though, especially that last one. It's not often i really want to work on someone else's design.

Already got three in various stages of texturing and exporting (one working in-game, but needs the final details put on), plus an Akira modification/retexture and another fed ship after that in the queue.

Since I'm a full-time student and working with a game development company as well, that'll all likely keep me disgustingly busy for a while... yet, i'm compelled to keep working on my SFC list. I could have sworn i'm not a masochist.

Of course, none of this means i won't jump a new, compelling project like this if noone else does.

Whoo. Nice job, man. Anyway, i'll keep an eye on the board in the event you come up with more, or this somehow doesn't quite come together. I'm usually good for at least knocking geometry out. That, I get done fast. It's the texturing that drags on forever.
