Personally, at the rate we're going, and at the rate of stalling and delaying we've been hearing, I vote for Duke Nukem Forever.

Man... this reminds me of way back when the 1.04 patch for Dominion Wars was due to come out and people were botching and screaming "it'll never come"...

It was due on Sept. 11, 2001. And these kids actually had the gall to COMPLAIN that the patch wasn't out yet.

Personally...I think MOO3 (Masters of Orion 3) will be out first...I know that went "Gold" and "I think" will be out at the end of this month.

I DO know for a fact that CFS3:BFE (Combat Flight Sim 3 :Battle for Europe) has released a patch (Not that it needed it...All 6 MB of it) as of yesterday...And CFS3 came out about the same time as SFC3:TNG (In Nov 2002)

I just feel sorry for the 56k guy that's going to have to DL this patch for SFC3...'Cause you KNOW it's going to be AT LEAST a 30+ MB Download.

No way, not even close.

SFC3 may be a little tardy on the patch, but comparing it to DNF? Which is now what, 7 years late? Totally unfair. I was going to present an analogy for wit, but I can't come up with one as lopsided as this.

How about:

That's like asking what is more annoying, AMMLs or Diakatana's cyberfrogs and cyberinsects.

SFC3 has problems, but keep a sense of perspective here. I've got a lot of games where I've waited a lot longer for a meaningful patch. As far as I'm concerned, I'm STILL waiting for one for War3.

That's easy.

SFC3 patch before MOO3 or DNF hits the shelves. I'm hearing the patch *should* be out for
US/UK/German by the 14th of February 2003. The patched version of the server will also
support SQL for admins who wish to run it.

Thanks for the good news, Dave, I think we're all excited about the new update coming out...

I was gonna make a joke about TF2, but..

I think I speak for everyone here that we want the patch to be in the best possible shape, before it is released.

I mean, no one wants a p.o.s. like the new 1.3 Battlefield 1942 patch...

Sheesh - what were they thinking !?!!

( I can't even play it anymore - and I just bought Road to Rome dang them ! )
