SFU may have my stuff, but they're the versions from years ago, and the ones I'm re-releasing now are improved in some way. Also, as usual, their server seems to be down.

Btw Fartytwo, I got the first part, ready for the second any time now.

Thanks to the efforts of many, it is back up for grabs at my site, this time with slight improvements here and there, getting rid of unwanted shadows. Lotus.....I'll keep it in mind.

Ready for DL! This time though I added an illumination map that I originally meant to but negelcted to do on the original version, and also fixed unwanted shadows.

Atrahasis, is there any chance of the KCR skin showing up on that C5? That's one slot no one has ever filled for us; a Kestral Dread. Most Rommies are still either using the stock model (hmmm no [puke] graemlin eh...], or a Klink skinned replacement.

But I don't see a Rom C-5 in the shiplist.....is it realistic to think that the Klinks would sell all their ship types to the Roms?

Nope, the Klinks never sold any C5s to the RSE, only the C9 hulls. It wouldn't be canon, but it'd be a big step ahead of where we are.

Well.. what you could do is download both and copy the C5.mod's into the KCR folder and have about what you want. I did it quickly and it looks pretty good. I have no plans to add it to my Romulan fleet, myself.

A celebration of Atrahasis's Klingon C5...

Step right up folks and get yer Klingon light dreadnought right here. It slices. It dices. It fires bursts of disruptor fire and launches drones with great delight. And if you time your alpha strikes well it even makes julian fries. Yes sir... available for a limited time only. The choice of discriminating Klingon captains everywhere.

*Disclaimer: Captain your KC5 well. It is not indistructable! Do not wear the box and packing. Do not eat the silica gel. People will laugh at you for doing so.

I think a lot of us feel this way about many of your models, Atra. They really have been that much fun. Models like the C5 have helped to make a game that had a lot of mediocre models ported from other games into a visual wonder. Think not? Try going back to the original model set. Not so fun to look at. But that's just what I think.

Oh I know, I enjoy playing with the stuff I make too, and thanks. Yeah, to get a Rom C-5 just replace all the KCR textures into the C5 folder....this'll overwrite the original C-5 textures, so make sure you make a backup.

Just for some SFB "historical" reference, the two C-5's that the Klingons built (which were "Fast" or "Raiding" Dreadnoughts, similar to the Federation DNL) were named the Kommander Kurlt and the Kommander Kuyper.
