today was the 12th "polar plunge" here in virginia beach va. it's a charity event to raise money for the special olympics. folks pledge to dive into the atlantic ocean, who's temp is 39 degrees farenheight, and people pedgse money for the cause. my guitar playrer and his girlfriend were going to do it, so i went to film. (in case you're wondering, i was considering doing it - but the old lady talked me out of it... the "turtle effect" the cause... you know, a turtle gets cold and goes in it's shell, and won't come out... if you don't know what i'm talkin about, never mind). so i'm there filmin, and guess what i see...
