WZ45's Romulanized SuvwI' Qeh now available!

OK, I had no success tweaking the red bird on the belly of the Romulan version of the SuvwI' Qeh.  However,  I did tweak the color of the warp engines using the plasma torpedo textures and I do like it. I have kept the tan and green boom textures and red-orange impulse engines



Also included in this d/l are the two engine versions WZ45 mentioned in my previous thread and are SFC1/2/3 compatible. I have included a SFC3 BS for the Romulanized SuvwI' Qeh but I was not able to do any other SFC3 shots. The readme file is also updated and has the mini background I posted earlier.

 I like the idea of a two engine version for the Romulans as the Klingons would not have given their allies the top of the line SuvwI' Qeh class ships; great idea WZ45!

Hey Klingon Fanatic!

I downloaded your SuvwI'Qeh last night and put her right into the game. At the moment she has replaced my stock Condor. She looks great in-game!

I do have a dumb question about the model: why don't the green photon textures show up in the two front and one back photon tube? The tubes are simply black on my model. I checked the file to make sure I had them and I do do. What do I need to do to get them tp show up?

Sorry to read that you are having problems with this. Here are two possible solutions:

1.   Delete the current Romulanized SuvwI? Qeh you have and D/l the file again

2.   If you simply renamed simply renamed the Romulanized SuvwI? Qeh to King Condor without deleting the King Condor in your game?s MODEL FOLDER first, it could be that the King Condor and Romulanized SuvwI? Qeh textures are together in the same folder. One of those textures could be masking the torpedo textures. If this is the problem just delete the King Condor model and then replace it with the Romulanized SuvwI Qeh.

I checked and rechecked these recent retextures and I haven?t had any trouble with either the model or textures as you report. It will be interesting to see if there are other people having the same problem. If the file is corrupt it has to be on STMODDIRECTORY?s end then, I have been having difficulty getting ship pics to show up there lately?

Thanks for the quick reply!

I initially noticed that the model didn't have the photon textures showing up in Model Viewer and then I tried her in game with the same result.

I'm thinking that there may be small glitch in the file because everything else seems fine. The two engine version does not show the green photons in model viewer either.

I'm perplexed myself, mostly becasue I definately have the photon bitmap files (there are two that I've noticed). It's not a big deal, just odd...

Thanks fo rthe advice though.

I'll attempt another D/L.
