Which Metamap file effects the races in a single player campaign, the GF one or the War one.

What are the numbers that determine whether a race is at war with another, or nuetral, or an alliance is going, on, Im making my game alittle differently and I need to know all the numbers used in that file and what the do, thanks in adanced,

 Dave Nuclear Wessles has or at least had something on how to set up servers tension levels and such. Im not sure what the link is  but if you look around in the modding forum i think it is he is a fairly regular poster in there. I think he  has some links in his sig.

its metamap.gf    Here is an excerpt from it.

[PoliticalTension/StartingTensions/Federation]
Federation=0
Klingon=750
Romulan=750
Lyran=750
Hydran=750
Gorn=750
ISC=750
Mirak=750
Orion=750
OrionOrion=750
OrionKorgath=750
OrionPrime=750
OrionTigerHeart=750
OrionBeastRaiders=750
OrionSyndicate=750
OrionWyldeFire=750
OrionCamboro=750
Monster=750

Um this one is from either 1 I modded or the conquest version.  If the number is over 700 that means that race is at war. Closer to 0 the stronger the Alliance.  So 1000 is the max and that is as hostile as a race can get.

This excerpt is just for the Feds. Note the Feds are 0  The  "owner race" always must be 0 then you can sett the otheres however u want.  By owner race I mean each race has thses settings. So just beleo this would be the same thing for the KLingons. For them the Klingon must be set to 0.

Just remember if you creat an alliance to do it for both races and not just 1.

Adam -

see my email.. James says about the same thing I did - this is correct.

In my TNG Mod for OP, the Gorn were the Borg.

My tension levels where set like this.

[PoliticalTension/StartingTensions/Gorn]
Federation=1000
Klingon=1000
Romulan=1000
Lyran=1000
Hydran=1000
Gorn=0
ISC=1000
Mirak=1000
Orion=1000
OrionOrion=1000
OrionKorgath=1000
OrionPrime=1000
OrionTigerHeart=1000
OrionBeastRaiders=1000
OrionSyndicate=1000
OrionWyldeFire=1000
OrionCamboro=1000
Monster=1000

'cause the Borg hate everyone.
