So KF, I'll need an email addy to send this to you.. 'cause noone else seemed to think an Excelsior hull on this'd work.. so hey, this is a personal ship for you I guess..

And another WIP shot of the Melak v2.. you can see where I'm building the groove in the back.

Nicely done Atheorhaven!

Kreeargh is also working on two versions of the Andor as I recall; one with and one without the Excelsior secondary hull.

Look at all these positive replies!

Not bad for a ship there was a lot of flak over the marriage of an Excelsior style hull to Connie componants.

DTW, Rogue and other Andor Class refit fans.

This ship is a MONSTER file (too big for me to e-mail via hotmail and stay sane), so unless Atheorhaven objects or has a better plan I will put this up for d/l at STMODDIRECTORY to start with later tonight and DTW and Rogue can choose to host this. This is the easiest and fastest way for me to get this out at the present time. Bear with me folks should be there sometime after 8PM EST?

Well, I did figure out one thing.. it records attempts at downloading.. that's why there's currently 58 of them (when I went in). It was 57 before me..

(guess that'd be a quick unscrupulous way to bump the number of downloads of a ship into the Top Ten downloads on the site..

Yup, it turned out well I think for a kitbash. I'm not in Mackie's league yet, but I was still happy with the final outcome.

One of the things I am getting tthe biggest chuckle out of though.. at the time I type this, the Ophidian thread, this thread, and Rogue's BCF thread are one, two and three.. and I worked on all of these, the BCF being this afternoon while I kept Rogue hanging on in ICQ while I made the needed changes to get things looking right... (grin)

(But apparently my green torpedo looked right right out of the barn).

Wow! This is strange.

STMODDIRECTORY is usually very prompt about updating their site. Its a big file, about 5MB, so I hope this doesn't mean they are rejecting it.

If its not up by 5PM EST I'll get it posted at SFU tonight.
