The Consititution II class has no Registries but other than that is complete, I used the blank Textures for it.
This model was orginally done by Khaliban, textures modified by GotAFarmYet?

what type of texture modifications? The connie 2 is too small in the pix to see what's different. The excelcior modification I assume is just making the blue darker?

Heya, Ron, nice ships. I like the darker blue on the Excelsiors. Like Starforce said, it's a little hard to see the Connie shots. I'll have to check out your archive.

Btw, I must admit to being rather curious; why attention to the FPF? Do you fly D2 under another name? Or were you thinking of us from my BCG request thread? Anywhos...

The archives does have the individual ships, and closer shots. The site really limits the shots to small Jepgs so the details are not there or as clear as I would like, but I am still on the free account there. The attention was caused by the thread for the BCG mostly because that was the first time I really ever paid attetion to banners. I liked the Blue and Gray and the Symbol. Since I started to use a variation on it one some of more resent models, I decided to at least make an attempt to pay you guys back for the ideas. I also never liked that light Blue the movie makers went with, probably why i redo most of the ships in Yellow, Green, Red and on occation Black.

I still do play on D2 but have not been there is a few weeks, and yes it is under a different name.

If you want better pics let me know I can always E-mail them, or catch me on MSN and I can send them or the files. There are small differences as I experiment with texturing.

Most are very small as I am learning how to do this stuff as I go. Also because I am not using a PhotoShop or simular program, I use a basic editor that came with a scanner I bought about 6 months ago. Most of it is different Symbols, Deflectors, and Impulse Engines (see the IronCross and FPF Excel). I try to avoid major changes, just colours mostly, simply becuase the orginal authors did a great job and remained true to Paramounts orginals.

One thing I did do is make them easier to change out Symbols on the hulls this way I can make them for different fleets with out major changes. I may have to finally pry open my wallet and buy a real texture program as I am reaching the limits of this program and really want to get into making registries, which this one can not do.

Perhaps you can get some pointers from blackrook32, he does tons of registrey items for defants and new oleans and recently the warspite. He does the tiny nacelle numbers too.

Anyways, I was wondering, can I get an FCA texture with only the golden deflector from the yellow FCA and everything else unchanged? I want it for mackies trooper which uses khali's. I only want the deflector itself.

The Problem is the program I have is a very basic one, I have the way to do it thanks to WZ45, and it can not do the functions as they don't exist in it. I have the LFCA one but it is in low resolution only (was the first one I ever did) and can be graffed to the texture you want I have the other 3 avaible and will send them off to you.

You're missing out on a great campaign! Storm Season II is the 1st major OP server with the .12 patch, and we've been having a blast. If you haven't been checking out the D2 forum, you should. Btw, are you registered over at SFC2.net forums?

Sure, I'd love to see some of the pics. Is your MSN addy the same as your earthlink addy?

As to registries, I've done up a few using P81's FCA blanks, they didn't turn out too bad. I could give you some help there, if you wish. I haven't done up an Excelsior, but I could try it out.

I don't have a Blank Excelisor texture but could probably make it if needed. I do have the blank Connie textures and usually use those for that model. Still working on a TNG llok for the Ironcross Mostly by retexturing the secondary hull and think I finally figured it out last night, and will do a mock up later today to see if it looks right to me (still looking for the red dragon Sov Deflector!). Registried as Captain Ron there a long time ago and final as GotAFarmYet resently but I do not go there very often, and mostly to check things out a little bit. I stopped playing on D2 because it came down to a choice because time got tight, either retexture (which is relaxing to me), or play on-line games (which has been know to frustrate me at times). Currently i am texturing but will probably go back to gaming sooner or later, have allot of ppl on mIRC that are wondering where I went.

Should be up on MSN 7 pm PST tonight and we can try it then, or PM me a time when you can be on-line.
