These ships, along with an entire world, culture, society, etc. was an idea of mine. ( i wont bore you with details )
So here i was, and i had to get these down on at least paper, and i knew Atolm was the man to do it, and so with a few concept shots from me - badly scanned - he turned them into spectacular pieces of art.

And now the next level is needed.

Essentially, i need some high-poly models so i can do CG stuff with them.

here is a shot of what the Light Cruiser and the Battleship look like. More will be released as Atolm draws them and i color them.

Just for a little bit of concept behind them.

These belong to a fantasy world, where magic and steel rule. These are used to wage wars in the sky (thats right, the sky). They are imbued magically with a neutral boyancy in air and use sails to get around. They are constructed mainly of wood with steel plating on the bow (yes, a lot of captains LOVE to ram with these things). Their weaponry consists of Ballistas, Catapults, the Occasional Cannon (like those on 18th century ships) and whatever the crew bring along - including their magical powers.

Yes i am aware that this isnt Star Trek or Even Sci-Fi but i came to the best and most friendly modellers i know

All right, NOW I can see 'em!

I like 'em. They have a "baleen whale-like" look to 'em, IMO.

But then I like the l"ife-like" look of ships like Azel's Hellions, etc.

Love to see these beauties made.
