The USS Remora with all 6 Variants. VERY Image Heavy.

HERE she is the Remora with all SIX variants, I have had these for some time, and finally with TVL's blessing I am able to release the last three I made.  I doubt I will make any more, since let's face it, I tweaked this ship about as far as I care to take her.  Time to move on, anyway here are the pics and the link to get these beauties.  Also on the Type A-C I added the glow to both sides.

I really like the type E. now that you've tweaked it as far as you care to, I think it'd make a nice little escort carrier with some hanger doors added to the txtrs on the pods

Well I'm pretty much done for Remora Variants for the near future.  As for the Escort Carrier idea, there are two shuttle doors on the back of the ship, maybe they are not quite what you were envisioning, but they get the job done.

WOW!! When I did the original, it was a request from Pataflafla, and KF was interested, but I never imagined it would take off like this. Amazing. Makes you wonder why no one ever did it before.

If those pics were the last thing you ever saw, you'd be honored!

Hey, those are nice models, and I think your Remora design looks better then the FASA schematics.  Great job!

Where in the OP shiplist would the Remora occupy? I always have problems deciding where FASA ships should go due to the fact that their Frigates and Destroyers are usually armed and sized large enough to be light and heavy cruisers. Thanks in advance.

Hi Tenchu
I'd suggest that the single engine Remora would work well as a destroyer of some sort. The 2 engine version could
be a light cruiser or destroyer again an the 3 engine version could be a war destroyer. Just my picks for using this great
model.

I think BG got it right, I intended the Remora for a Destroyer/War Destroyer, but Light Cruiser is not a bad suggestion.

Thanks for the heads up. Keep up the FASA goodness! Those FASA ships had great designs and it's a shame they are not official.

Ahh the Remora my second most favorite ship.  I figured this thread had fallen off into the great abyss by now.  In a couple days I'll post some WIPs of some ships I am working on.
