What scene? Was this the scene with Captain Terrel and Chekov at the beginning of the movie?

It's because they used the same bridge set for both the Enterprise and the Reliant for the movie and they undoubtedly got the displays mixed up on some occasions. There are also some displays with a few of the Phase 2, Saladin, and other TOS era ships that can be glimpsed in a handful of scenes.

There IS a wierd-looking single-nacelled ship in there, it looks like some kind of minimized scout-class but not the Saladin. But basicaly half a primary hull with a slim nacelle on the undrside. This ship was featured on the cover of a FASA manual once, I forget which one, and I don't think anyone gave it a name.

Looking at it, its possible it was a damage report indicator for habitable areas for the ship. However, this image from Section31.com proves some discontinuities in the scene    Look at the extreme left side of the picture.
