I would pay for a copy even if it's just a plain old text file. A lot of good info is over there but it's unsearchable.

I don't think the software's working correctly.

I'm sure if it was working fine, it would be up.

I could be wrong and Taldren doesn't to use the bandwidth.
If that's the case, you could just host it, copy every peice of information, and then stop.

Erm..thanks for the help...heheh..

When did you do this?  Right after the switch to the new forum software or since the old fora appear to be unreachable?  Last time I tried, I couldn't get there and now I don't even have the link...

Opens checkbook and sees that there are checks left. "Hey I got money!" Serious though I would pay a little fee to get a copy.

Do you have a time machine?  That's what it would take.

Thanks,

Dave

Damn...I loaned my time machine out a while back and the rat bastard I loaned it to skipped the century.

It's a shame...it would have been cool to dig some stuff out of there.

I was thinking the same thing, But maybe we could preserve this one. If someone had a great Connection, ( Frey) and was able to do a Synchronize on his machine, We might be able to preserve alot of this.

But yes, The old forum was great, But there was also alot of Bad Blood Started on there ( Magic Photon) , however, Most of the great Post's where saved, ( Monty Python) and alot should be lost in the annuals of time ( Forward tracking Plasma) .

All the same, I think this forum is alot smoother and sexier ( AlienLXiX, Tracy , Krolling) and easier to use, Once again ( uhm never mind. )

Seriously, I was just joking with everyone, But maybe we should try and preserve some of these threads.

Look to the future Gent's .

Was thinking about the Trans_Am vs Corvette war myself.
My favorite response in the leading plasma debate was that it was led by cheese held in front of it by elves.
What why is everyone looking at me so strange? it could happen...

The song threads like Boom, Boom, Clap!

And that space war game that had france and the patented two tin cups and a string technology!

Some of those debate I hope got saved.

If I can help archive these in any way, I would be more than willing to help.

I fear, tho, that what Dave is saying is that the forum content, in it's whole, doesn't exist any more.
