OK, CV and I don't mix.

I attempted to DOUBLE the size of the planet-killer included in Spacecadetglowuk's "SFC Model Pack" and you can see the results in the lower right of this collage of pics.

The pics without the STOCK maw effect were taken when I put it in the M-INT slot and played the #3 Bonus Pirate mission and the Intruder Multiplayer skirmishes.

This model would be great if it could be tweaked abit more. Is there anybody able to help?

This planet-killer is at: http://www.stcd.sgnonline.com/network/sfcmods.htm

Do a search for "SFC Model Pack" Thank you TheBigCheese!

Now we have four versions:

1. Taldren Stock {Sports coup model}
2. John Stone's  canon retexture of the stock MDM
3. Azel's TNG Doomsday Machine
4. This one [no readme in the model?]

How did I get the Doomsday Machine in Multiplayer?

1. I go into the shiplist and change the Large Doomsday Machine from 'SPECIAL' to 'MONSTER' save the change and get out.
2. I start the game, go to multiplayer.
3. I click on the 'MONSTER' mission
4. for BPV I allow '9999'
5. I select 3 players [why 3? I can get this process to work 99% of the time]
6. All players are set to Team 'C' which makes a 'Strong' monster
7. I usually pick two feds [FCV and FCX] and a Klink [KDN] as players [Why those? It probably doesn't matter, but I can get this process to work 99% of the time]
8. I start the mission and voila!

As somebody else says on the forums: "Your mileage may vary".

Qapla!

Downloaded it.. what all needs to be done to it?  If it's a simple resize, I can do that tomorrow and send you the adjusted mesh.

I *think* it needs to be resized so that the  PK Maw effect shows up inside the Maw and not projected forward outside of it.

Thanks in advance Atheorhaven.

Okay, I think it's resized.. just want to check it out before I send it over.  How did you test this puppy again?  Maybe it's something I can duplicate..
