Rogue NineCH: Andor Pics. Thread is Picture Intensive...

Check out what I have done to it.  I havent put the registry on it yet, but you get the idea. Now, I am working off an imperfect extremely low low low poly mesh that doesnt do this ship justice. The mesh uses copies of the textures in strange places and completely warps others to the point that retexturing it has become a nightmare. As an example, the shuttlebay texture has the mesh placing it in 3x different areas. Textures are stretched or warped over 25% of her hull... I have settled for what I have done, but it still isnt very good.

Unfortunately I cant do anything about it, but would like to. Have you seen a higher poly mesh of this one? This is one model that could use some attention.

Original Textures:

Mesh of this model, made by P81?

And here are my texture improvements that at the least make it more pleasing to looking at.

So. Is there any hope for finding another higher poly mesh that doesnt distort and warp the textures? Or perhaps somone can make one?

Yup that  is the SFC1 Andor is by P81. The texture work is by John Stone and not the original textures.  I don't recall P81 ever making an updated version. Arachne, I'd like to put this in the FASA to SFC collection. This will make three versions of the Andor Class that I am aware of.

Qapla!

Do you do personal requests, Rogue? I'd like to see a simply altered version of that BCG you have. Just a tiny mesh change.

Actually, John Stone's textures seemed more Photo-realistic than P81's... And in some ways better.  That's just IMHO, not meaning to insult anyone's work...

But nice work on the new textures, not bad...
