ISC Tug -- work in progress
« on: August 08, 2003, 02:40:15 pm »
I feel like I'm taking way more than I could chew in trying to make this ship. This is just work in progress and I often feel at a loss at how to proceed. The tug below is shown with 1 pod (battle), to give you an idea as to what it looks like. It never operated with a single pod. It was either no pods, or 2.  (see ISC Tug, SFB)

I am about to go to my nephew's bday bash, but here's a screenshot of work, so far. ..

1- What do you think?
2- Do you have any suggestions? Advice?
3- Anyone who feels they can do a better job want to take over?

The textures on the top piece are getting stretched. Needs to be remapped. Otherwise looks cool. Though I never really cared for the ISC stock Textures. There kinda generic. I attempted a retex but went the other extreme and they were a bit out there.  ISC ships definately need some attention. Not many varients that I know of.

Keep it up Firesoul. Looking good so far.

1-Looks great!
2-Well, not really...looking pretty good now, just like KF and James said, remap the textures.
3-Not a chance!  I can barely break away from doing feds with a Klink...won't even attempt isc yet, lol.

Good job and let's see it with both pods.

take away the textures and the main hull looks Rom to me.  Maybe I'm crazy, who knows.  Anyhow, if I ever get my backlog of stuff up to snuff I'll see what I can do about some more.

Here is the result. If you want to improve this model's texture, go ahead. Please share with me the result so that I can add the updated model to my mod.

 ISC Fleet Tug, 0 pods

ISC Fleet Tug, 2 cargo pods

 ISC Battle Tug

Enjoy.

heh. thanks.
Let's see if I can manage a I-LTT. The SFB SSD shows it resembling a CL with the main bridge/cone removed for where the single pod would go. That's why I made the battle pod like that.

Ok. This is crude, but I am looking for feedback:

I-LTT, no pod.

I-LTT, battle pod. (I-LBT)
