I spent most of the weekend recovering from the loss of a few FASA to SFC CDs I had. Thank goodness I backed up a variety of ships on other disks and was able to locate OPERATIONAL sites that had ships I missed the first time around in my bid to create the most extensive FASA to SFC collection available. I view this as a library resource for the SFC community, as many websites come and go and models get lost in cyberspace. Naturally, just when I think I?m updated a WHOLE NEW crop of FASA Trek ships arrive on the scene! LOL

Let me back up and explain that I am NOT creating a mod and that I am not really interested in collecting FASA Trek TOS or TNG ships. Unfortunately, many of the adversary races only appear to have TOS versions [e.g., Romulan V-1 Star Glider]

As such, I am emphasizing FASA designs over even CANON material. I don?t see the point in collecting ALL the Oberth Class, BOPs, Enterprise Class [Constitution Refit], Excelsiors, Reliants [Miranda Class] or even all the K? Tinga?s out there. Somebody else can do that. I have limited myself to a MAXIMUM of four models per canon ship, and left the door wide open for FASA ships.

The SCORE so far:

17 of 45 TMP FASA Federation ships have been converted to the SFC series.
17 out of 45 TMP FASA Klingons have been converted to the SFC series.
11 out of 38 TMP FASA Romulans have been converted to the SFC series.

Currently, the Federation USS Baker Destroyer holds the lead with the most number (8) so far followed closely by the Klingon D-10 (6) and the USS Remora (5). The Romulan Nova BB is up to four versions now. This unofficial ?tally? is subject to change of course, as more models, kitbashes or retextures come to my attention.

Klingon D-10 (TOS) Gray by P81 ROMULANIZED [Retextured by ???]; It was up online a year or two ago and I can?t find the link or my copy of the ship. I think it was by another SFC member from the United Kingdom .

Bird of Prey (B?rel) Romulanized part of Skinman?s collection of BOPs. I can?t find the link and there is a Gold-White-Brown BOP that would be good as a Romulan S-11 IMHO.

It is also RUMORED that the following FASA ships might still be at the shipyards:

Anduril: TMP V-1 and V-4 [meshes by Scott Hunter]

Captain KoraH: Federation Scorpio Corvette

Khaliban: Federation Chandley

Terradyne: V-20 Star Seeker, Klingon D-16, V-6 Gallant Wing

????: Winged Defender (Prototype style)

Any news/help would be appreciated.

I saw some pics of the D10's that were converted for the SG3 server and copied them. But I never D/Led the mod. So I dont have the meshes.

But here are the pics: Someone else may have them. If you do, I want them!

Anybody have P81's original Northampton? Here's a pic:

Also, there exists an Klingon L-9 Saber that was made BEFORE Cleeve made his version. I don't remember who made it.

Maybe I'm reaching here, as these are SFC1 models. I included the SFC1 Remora in the collection and an unlit D-11 One Wing and D10.

Should I restrict the collection further to SFC2/OP lit models only?

I Thanks for the e-mails. As of 9:30PM EST I got P81's Northhampton the one you sent me is not the SFC1 one pictured above, lol. I have that one already

he named it fnh2, meaning the BETTER one we have is for SFC2 (aka version 2).

Please send me the rest of the S-11and if you have it the TMP V-1 (the warp engines are not round like on TOS ships on that version) please.

I resent the S11 part2. The V1 is the only one I've seen and the North Hampton is my only version. I'll keep tabs lest I forget any I might have.

I have 2x types of NH's.

Pataflafla (Kitbash); P81 (Original Model)

and

P-81's Northampton with a major texture tweak by Hig Hurtenflurst.

I can tell you that Hig makes a mean looking texture. The best I have seen. I have yet to see a texture job done by anyone better. I use his textures on all my models wherever possible. They are just the best. Big thanks to Hig Hurtenflurst.

I have the mesh for the Scorpio, just no textures for it. If someone would like to texture it we can fill that slot. If someone wants the mesh email me and I'll reply it to you.
