Topic: Is this a bug or what???

I start a mission playing a single ship, vs lets say 2 other vessels, then I capture a ship, that ship that I had capture gets destroyed by the other ship, then the mission ends and i lose, even though my ship that i originally start with never was destroyed, its wierd because i tried it again and again, and it keeps happening

Nope I dont know, all I know is that its happening with the skirmishes

Are you using 2.5.4.12 with the default campaign settings in the .gf, and no added missions?

Yup its the latest patch, and I havent touched no .gf stuff, no added mission, so i basically have left it alone

It's happening with the "Hostile Skirmish" script. Not the campaigns. Just to help clear it up.

I should have paid attention to this bit. I thought you were playing patrols in between the scripted campaign missions and were worried about it affecting your campaign.

I suspect there has been a minor change in the game which has not been updated in the single player script. Try running a mission using co-op ace and see if it happens there.

Yep it's a bug.  It could probably easily be fixed by someone with
the scripting API.
