Looking for any feedback
« on: August 05, 2003, 09:08:27 pm »
Hi folks - I've been using 3DS Max for literally a few hours and I'm working on my first ever model... a small bespoke Romulan vessel.  I'm pretty pleased with it so far, although, I've gotten myself stuck...  I'd like to post it here for you guys to take a look and offer your opinions and advice, but I'm not sure what to do so that I can post it here - any suggestions?

Perplexed again...

Always nice to see new talent.

If you want to send me a screenshot I can post it for you.

If you want to do it yourself, go to a free pic hosting site like: www.20m.com Sign up for a free account, create a mini website for pic hosting and upload your JPG format pics. Once you do that, click on the properties of the pic you want to post copy the url and post it on the forums  as .

Qapla!

In max, you can make a render by positioning the ship in the perspective viewport the way you want it, then hit f9; after the render is finished, hit the save icon (looks like a floppy disk). You may have to adjust things a little to get used to it, but the best is to just play around with it until your more comfortable.

Hope this helps.
