Props to P81 for the original mesh and the nicer nacelles from his connie, also to Pataflafla the unpronounceable for the textures to work from (saucer and aztec pattern) textures for the sec hull are based loosely on P81's originals - mainly the blue bits and phasers.

Fortunately for you guys you wont have to deal with it for another 3 weeks as I'm going on holiday tomorow to the Supereme Fatherland - Italy, via France Switzerland and Austria, maybe a quick stop off in Lichtenstein, just to say I've been there more than anything else. Oh well, also have a Larson in the works, I posted this now as I finally got over my apathy and finished it and I'm so proud, I'd send it to Rogue tonight but I haven't got P81's permission and I don't feel like going near Frostworks incase Don Dawson posts his opinion LOL...

K, I'm off to tinker with the Larson in the few hours before I leave,

ci videamo piú tarde.

Edit: DAMN YOU YAHOO AND YOUR SMALL PICTURE LIMIT THINGY!!!!!11!!1!

Lestat, if you want, you can send the file to me now, and I'll get P81's permission for you, since I don't care what Dawson has to say, I'll go near the Frost-Works forum for you!!    Send the Larson too if you happen to finish it.

Hey TVL,

Send this my way when you are done, please.

You made my FASA to SFC Collection list for the second time now! I have listed your fine Kijev in the FASA to SFC list already. P81 won't mind this retexture. Kudos to him for being so awesome to his fans.

I am in need of the original P81 Loknar, not the USS Cairo, so if somebody has the saucer and engine name bmps please send them my way. Believe it or not I don't have the original Loknar refit, I think I lost it in a PC crash and SFC Italia is coming OFF the FASA to SFC resource list, Doh!

Qapla!

K, first email is sent, the second is also on the way, one more to go dude, I doubt I'll finish the Larson before I go, I'm just not happy with the rear extension textures right now, it'll come together eventually...

Oh and thanx dude, you da man!

BTW to Don Dawson if you may be reading no offense but you know what I think about your fight with Atra and the side I took, bye General Wolfe, er I mean Don ROFL

KF dude, don't worry, once Rogue gets Rick's permission he'll have it on his site where you can get it in 1 piece instead of 3 from me LOL

Oh and doesn't Rogue have both original Loknars already on his site?

Ok, I got all three files and everything is in order, WOW!!  Excellent work Lestat!!  I have it on my site soon enough.  You know where to send the Larson when it's finished.  Thanks again. Yes I do have both versions of the Loknar on my site.  This one I think I'll call the Loknar Mark III, if you have no objections.

Actually according to the STSSTCSMUA site, the TOS Loknars are Mk I and II while the refit ones are Mk IV and V, what happened to III I don't know but those are the FASA specs. BTW the Kijev you are already hosting, judgeing by the registry 4900 it should be from the late 2280s to the early 2290s, not 2265, also it is exclusively a TMP style desgin so it cannot predate the refit of the connies in 2271, I'd suggest 2286 as the year of introduction, also I don't think Heavy frigate is really the correct role, more likely a light escort or some such term.

If I remember correctly FASA stated the Mark III design was mostly cosmetic interior changes, nothing to do with performance.  As far as the registry goes that is the original registry made by P81, I haven't gotten around to changing it, when I do, I'll add the j ti the name as well.  I tend to stat on my site the role I use the ship in, that's why I called it a heavy frigate, which dual-roled as a light escort.

The Kijev I was refering to was mine actually, you've got it pegged as being from 2265 which I obviously think is a bit to early by several decades LOL

Hey guys, let me Clarify  that I've got  P81's model of the TMP Loknar with the USS Cairo registry. Didn't P81 do the USS Loknar Registry? I know that the Cairo Registry was added later by Chris Colley. I only need the textures for the TMP USS Loknar and the engine restries for the same and I can wrap up the Loknar portion of the FASA Trek TMP collection .

I spent ALL weekend assembling the DEFINITIVE TMP FASA TREK collection and MUST have these ships for it so I can pass the entire monster on to somebody for hosting.

Please help if you can.

I am only aware of the USS Cairo registry, that is the only TMP Loknar that was ever hosted on the old STS, the only USS Loknar Rick did was the TOS version. Anyway, someone should whip up some textures for the proper name for the Cairo - USS Al-Qahirah (there may be some funny markings over one or 2 of the letters but that's the proper word for Cairo)

Lestat is right, the only Loknar registry done was the USS Cairo, I might be able to fix that.  I'll keep you posted.

I may just have been at this too long this weekend guys.

From the Readme (USS Cairo) I have [ I have three differnt disks with the USS Cairo zipped on it over a year old] :

Original model by Pneumonic81.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Textures created/edited by CC22 using Pneumonic81 based textures.

I also whacked on the Impulse drives from P81's TMP DVD version FCA Constitution ;-)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
chriscolley22@hotmail.com

Enjoy!

The USS Cairo at Rogue's site doesn't have that readme in it.

Sort of, the Phobos is supposed a refiited version of the Loknar, at least that is what I heard somewhere on this board.  Feel free to correct if I am wrong, but I don't think the Phobos has been released yet for SFC.

As you can tell by the Saucer markings, I plan to use this model as a Frigate. I can't seem to find any other suitable models that look good...

Anyway, I might have the pre-release version. This one is HOT! Take a l ky.

Arachne,

Please note that the front intake grill textures are missing on the above USS Phobos. This is not P81's excellent but "whitewashed" version.  I have the corrected intake textures for the above USS Phobos  if you want to trade it for your modified saucer, lol. The corrected textures use the intake textures from P81's original Loknar the USS Cairo.

I'm pretty sure that Makotokat still has this ship around and he could post it again.

The Phobos is very cool. Could we see the underside to count how many phasers it has there?

Ahh, you are right. They are missing. Hrmmm.

EDIT: Fixed it.

Anthony Scott: I dont know what the legal implications of altering a modeler's textures like I did and then posting them for D/L. So I wont do it. But I dont have a problem with sharing them with a few friends. So you want it, PM me.

And Atrahasis, how many underside phasers do you want and where do you want them? You can do that yourself, silly
