Anyone have a STL of a Borg Cube?
« on: August 07, 2003, 12:05:05 pm »
I could handle a DXF format, but I'm really looking for a STL file version of a Borg cube. Preferably watertight with no internal artifacts (skin model). Textures are irrelevant!

I conduct research into rapid prototyping of metals, and this would make a nice demo.

Thanks Guys....

...and a nice conversation piece for the first guy to give me the file.

Come on! Who doesn't want a metal Borg cube on their desk??

I can convert DXF files (such as the freebies on 3dcafe) to STL, but all the Borg models have too many intersections, internal facets, and bad edges. It would taken me weeks to fix even one.
