Hope this is going in the right place.  I am havig a problem with the script for Orion Moon ported from SFCII to OP.  I capture the base, but the script continues to generate Orion ships.  I then told the base to self destruct, but it still continued gnereating ships.  Since I had a PFT, I read a book for a couple hours while my PF killed Orion ships to make sure it was not simply a metter of needing to kill a bunch of them.  They just kept spawning, so I disengaged, and it told me I had lost.

You have to fire at it and specifically destroy it in the brief window of opportunity caused by the launch of another orion ship.

It doesn't take much..

Are you saying that there is a short delay between the spawning of the Orion ships and the moon must be destroyed during that time to trigger the end of the scenario (and thus if the moon is destroyed or captured while a ship is out there that the scirpt will just loop forever)?

Correct. You have to fire at the moon within a few seconds of the new ship being generated... basically while the garage door is open.
