The Cardassians were removed because Taldren just didn't have enough time to balance the Keldon and Galor. It was a late decision made after the manual was printed.

Taldren wanted to leave the Galor and Keldon models in the game for the Mod community to play with,but Activision's QA took them out.

If their is to be an add on mission pack to include other races such as the  Cardassians, Dominion, and perhaps another two races included from the The Next Generation / Deep space nine era. I would be certain that this game would have an even more greater replay value and would greaty increase it's online following as well. I myself would pay $29.95 for such an add on pack for SFC 3 as I described.

Just a friendly lil hint to you Activision suits heheee.

From what I herd the borg misions will be in the pacthas for being a sucker I have been playing since late 99 its
a very good game I have also pre ordered the last 3 games (sfc3 was the only one I got nothing for pre ordering duw to being in the U.K.)
I dont think taldren have ever held on to some thing they made for sfc so I am sure that the borg missions will be out soon

I think I have an earlier version, I need to redownload the newest version, looks like you've added a few more ships since the version I had.

According to the Activision question site the awnser is no.

Actually, the original beta patch Readme list showed the SP Borg missions as being included in the patch.  Unfortunately, the latest readme for the official patch (That Activision is trying to hatch by sitting on it endlessly) does not include the addition of the Borg single player campiagn.

Dan Hagerty, Producer of SFC3 has clearly stated on the gaming.startrek.com forum that the BORG CAMPAIGN WILL BE PART OF PATCH.

(besides, the borg missions sources codes (designed for SFC1.01) are already released. you can always compile one for your self, or politely as the community scripters to put up for DL.)

So those of you that did not purchase SFC 3 from Best Buy do not have the Borg Campaign, and conquest mode? Or your just missing the Borg Campaign mode only.
