Waaaaahhhh!!!

I can't download them. One question though. What kind of poly oc*nt is each piece??

I'm asking because this has given me an idea for a minimod for Star Trek Armada 2 (I don't mod for SFC but the idea would be a novel one to say the least).

Fixed download them now! they are .3ds format, but I can make them available in other formats if asked (I built them in truespace)

And pieces must connect everyone!

They're much smaller than the last versions so they run better in game. everything is as square as I can make it to lower the polys. Check out my other thread for results.

Not a stupid question........you need a 3D modeling program like 3d MAX, GMAX, Lightwave, Truespace, Milkshape or any other

The file is in 3DS format but I can also release in many other formats including MOD for other users. What do you use bearslayer???

http://www.anim8or.com

This one is free, and it'll import the .3ds files nicely.  And export them as well..   then it's just a case of sending them to someone to import and export as .MOD

That's what I meant...I'm gonna play 5 yr old again...my youngest is 7 now, so I get to regress again, lol.

Now, you said onlu use the pieces given...does that mean no mirroring?

Hell no! Mirror away! I just wanted to keep my file size down. most of the corners are meant to be mirrored. I just don't want people to make their own 'special' pieces like curved romulan wing sections or whatnot! You only get basic pieces but I added a few interesting ones like the ramps and the bulb for nacelle ends or running lights. As well there is a 90 degree l bracket that I am sure some clever person will have fun with. Make it look like you built it out of bricks and let's blow them up!

Hmmmm, whilst not wanting to look like I still have a good knowledge of lego *cough* *cough*. I think it would be good if people can come up with additional pieces which are actual lego pieces. Its not that difficult as theres a good few websites dedicated to lego around.,
