Makes Sense, Chris. Best wishes. Drop in to visit once in a while!

One I thing I must beg you for: Please keep the download online as long as possible, and give us at least some fair warning if you can't support the site anymore.

Thanks everyone. This means a lot to me. My site(s) will stay up and be updated from time to time.

Three cheers for a man that showed us that the way the game was when you bought it was the beginning, rather than the end. HIP! HIP HOORAY!
Take care of your family, Chris. Unlike modding, you only really get one shot to make that right. And, before I forget, Thank you!
See you around.

Thanks for everything you did for the SFC community, Chris. Like you, I have some priorities popping up that is taking me away for a bit.

Take care.

I wish you the best Chris, I know exactly what this game can do to your real life, if it wasn't an issue, then all online games would have puttered out long ago, but it is the future because developers know it's addicting and fun.

I can't tell you how much this game did to my family or social life, but it was my choice, and I abide by it. I respect your decision wholeheartedly, and I know the feeling all too well.

Sincere wishes for you and your family, this community is grateful for your hard work and dedication...

*salutes*

Been here, done this.  Snapped CD's, got rid of Internet at home, sold off computers.  Whatever you have to do to pull yourself free, its worth it.  Of course we all come back, but with a better perception of what is important, and how.

What about Trek radio. You gonna keep broadcasting?

Probably not.. or at least not for a while. He briefly mentioned to me (via MSN) that his broadband connection was going soon.

Radio is on hold and uncertain.  The files lie on thier server and I can program it from here, but I didn't pay this month's bill, lol. I was going live once in a while for fun.  Yes I am losing broadband. Can't afford it right now.  Not even sure about dialup at this point. Serious life changes for sure.

Thanks again, everyone

Chris,

Talk to me bro. How much was the cost to run the station?

If connection is an issue, then would you be willing to send me the files so that once I have a second platform built I can host both an OP server and the radio.

Email me.

Best,
Jerry

I had shipedit open the other day and realized something. That old spark is not there anymore.  It seemed like I was going through motions;

I had the same happen to me, and haven't touched SFC since...

Chris Jones, you have done a whole freaking lot for the community, and have enhanced countless peoples enjoyment of the game with your creations.  though you will be missed, it is all understood.  I as well am just returning from a nearly 8 month hiatus, though i had other reasons to be away.  best of luck on forging a bright destiny for you and your family.
