We get to many reports on the GFL server about targeting the cloak, bubye.

We have specific rules in place about bug abuse, what's the point of playing if you can't repair
or repair anything else if your cloak is hit.  Since you can't not equip your ship with a cloak, not much
you can do but play on servers that have bug rules in place.

I'm not sure what I think on this topic

While the point that it's unsportsman-like to target a component that can't be repaired due to a bug is valid.  Its seems just as unsporting to use a ship which has a vital component which if targeted is gone for good; when subsystem targeting is an established part of the game (and then feel that for everything to be fair, they are to ignore your weakness).

Its like arming your medics with your squad heavy weapon, and being upset when you foe starts picking off medics at the beginning of every engagement.  Even if its because for some reason only medics can carry these weapons until your new recruits make it to the front.

Now yes, I know its not real life, but if you expect (as a Rom or Klink) for opponents not to target your cloak, there would need to be some established sacrifice on your part too (if we're looking for "fairness").

Theres a bug that if used allows me to kill some of your crew by targeting an item on  your ship
Now this item can be repared still dont meen its not a bug

It's a bug, Longtooth.
