...  I like that a lot. Now generate one from tinker toys and import the magnatize. I would like to see a screen shot of that knock down drag out fight.

Didn't someone make a Borg smile-face sphere? Hmmm, a co-op vs. the Borg. What fun!

I make LEGO tm Trek ships with my son too! I've made a FASA Klingon D10 once, lol. BTW: I love how you made the Excelsior style engines, lol.

Here's one of our latest projects:

To date, I've made a Madcat, a Raven, a Hollander II and a Commando. getting the right peices to be able to turn was frustrating, thank goodness for yard sales!

Qapla!

Well I can release an untextured version of my blocks (I just UVW Box wrap them with a simple texture when I'm done)

Remember Any ship must be saved as a break model so that when it blows apart all the pieces go there separate ways....

I release it sometime tomorrow.

Maybe a contest for the best ship made from the parts.......

Any takers????

I like how you made that Lego Excelsior... BTW, how did you make that, 3-D legos or not?  What lego pieces would it take?  Makes me want to try making one with what I've got.  Or two if I'm lucky.

There is now a lego contest with slightly simpler (read lower poly) blocks!

Lets make a few good ships people!

What about the Galaxy-class?  Can't we see pics of that?

And can you make schematic views too?  It might give me a clue at where to start building 'em.

Basically stack em one on top of the other as you would in real life. the dimensions all fit together

if you look at a lego site you'll find some nice space designs for actual sets that, if modeled, would make cool starships, even if they were done so the ships looked "real" instead of lego. There's another idea to stir in the mix. BTW, how are all those old tos's comming along mako?
