A hardy Hi-Ho Thank you.

I'm one of those members of these fine forums who comes here more to read what is on people's minds about these games.  I don't post alot, so this is a rarity.  Anyway, I've been reading those threads that address the Orion Pirates patch that those who were patient and fathful to the game has finally materialized.  It seems that there will always be a hit miss ratio to gripe about.  Ever since the release of the first game, I have had no complaints.  I've never had the opportunity to play or even know about SFB prior to the first release so I'm not to saavy on its rules as compared to the SFC series rules.  When a patch was released, I'd download it and apply it without saying, "Hey, that photon doesn't have the hit ratio that was promised".  I'm in it for the FUN factor, the technical stuff comes second.  The only concern I had was the 'reverse' issue, but I knew in time it would show up.
Anyway, I'm happy with all the versions and I have played them all, and still do.  So, without further ado, from the bottom of this Starfleet Command junkie's heart, I thank you, Taldren for all the games, patches, and weapons charts.  After all, its all about fun!

I hope there will be more incarnations of SFC from your studios, but if Activision or Paramount screws crap up for ya, I'll continue to support your efforts and future projects.

yeah, Dave... I'll second that... we give you guys a hard time, but you have to know we wouldn't be here if we didn't really like your game!  Thanks for all the hard work, fun, and entertainment...

I'm one of those who played SFB back in the old days enough that I memorized much of the ruleset.  I notice little things like hit percentage and system changes, and have occasionally   been known to write long diatribes on the effects of such changes.

That said, Taldren produced some wonderful games that have been a great deal of fun to play.

Just as importantly, they have supported the games and the community to a level far beyond what anyone could reasonably have expected.

Bravo, Taldren!
