Well, finally got this one released, thanx in large part to SMILEY for texturing her; he did a great job on her!!

She's available at my site HERITAGE SHIPYARDS . Even though she's not pre-TOS, I like having her there...past and TNG together.

I also re-did the sizing and hp/dp on the AMARILLO, as it got really whacked somewhere from MAX5 to .mod,lol.

Here's a couple of pics of the CHEROKEE and an ingame pic of the AMARILLO, hp'd as FDD.

. Sometimes it just seems like no-one cares unless you put something like "P81's CHEYENNE!!" or to that effect; then there's alot of comments and whoop-de-do about it. I know I'm no P81, but still, I like to get some feedback.

Smiley, I had to re-size the 1024's down to 512...when I zipped it with the big ones, it was over 5mb, and that's as large as can be uploaded at one time to geocities.

It's been educational looking at the psp files you sent me, I'll be trying some things when I get to the GAGARIN. Right now I'm working on a D-2; looks easy, but the 4view pic at SFM is a little vague on some things, so I had to wing it.

I'll be posting some pics soon. BTW, which class did you hp her as? I want to try her ingame, but never got used to using shipedit or anything, so I just do 'em as a stock class and replace the file.

Thanx again for the help, and yes, she renders beautifully with your paintjob.

Oh no! You didn't release it as a SFC2x ship did you?!
The hardpoints that I gave it are configured for SFC3 only, I have never hardpointed anything for SFC2x, the hps are too inflexible for that. This ship will have all of the hps round the wrong way if you even attempt to use it in SFC2x, i.e the primary weapons are 1-11 and the heavies are 12-25, which is correct for SFC3 but incorrect for anything else :s

Sowwy, I should have told you that when I sent the files but I thought you already knew and I didn't wanna seem condecending or anything, eek :s

I'll just re-do 'em and release for SFC2, and change the d/l page to reflect that the current one is for SFC3. This cool actually, because I've never released anything for 3...don't have it yet, and can't test.

Guess I'll pop on over to the SFC3 forums and release her!!

Now, do I still remember my password?

Thanx! But it's those shiny new Klinks and Rommys that are going to bite the cosmic dust.

Yes, I did a mesh of the Remora...sent to Pataflafla for texturing; when he left he sent me the initial stages of the work...I sent to Atheorhaven, he's really busy.

If I was better at texturing I'd do it, but I still cant do it justice.

Atheorhave has done some work on it, but as I said he's busy, so have to wait. Oh well, I know it will rock when he gets done with it!!

Great Looking ship. Great job Sandman and Smiley. Good to see collaboration to produce a nice gem like this. Needed to be done for awhile. Can't wait to add it into my Fed Fleet.
