Mulitplayer Bugs

1. Some officers dont rise properly - especially Engineers !! Even after my 10th engineer, none of them got better in any of the three categories!!

2. Anti-cloak scan - the player being scanned KNOWS when he is discovered by the 'Cloaked ship detected' message. This message should only appear for the scanning player.

3. After playing in a Romulan Raptor for a while, i found that the chance of getting a multi-volley is about 40% with a level 6 tactical officer. HOWEVER, the chance of any of the EXTRA torpedos from the multi-volley hitting the target is about 0% (With a level 6 targeting officer). This is completely wrong - whats the point in multi volleys if they never hit????

4. Sometimes the Admiral promotion is skipped. The server i play on gives you the admiral promotion at 50000pp. Out of the 4 accounts i have on this server, 2 of them NEVER got the admiral promotion. This makes it EXTREMELY difficult to get a decent DN (Its even harder when you think about bug number 1....).

5. In Planettary Assaults, the AI enemies go up to the planet, face the planet, go to 0 speed......and do nothing. They try to shoot their rear torpedos, but thats it. This makes it far too easy.

If anyone thinks im wrong or has had any experience with any of these, please post a reply.

I also have a question:

When in a mission, does the chance of an officer increasing in a certain tech. depend if he is used in that way in the mission? (e.g. does the engineer get better at repairs faster if you repair systems more, or does the pilot get better at erratic maneuvers if you use it more often?)

Any anserws are appreciated.

hey
no it dosent matter how u use them
they have a probableity to advance due to mision succes rate like victory or outstanding victory that is equal to all officers in a mission only thing that matters are their current skill if an officer has the figures 3 4 5  he will most likely advaŽnce to 4 4 5
bcuz(this is set by dynaserver admin) when officers has rate 3 in a skill he/her will have a chance of 20% of advancing to next level wheb the mission outcome is victory and a 30% chance when its outstanding victory and for lvl 4 it might be V=10% OV=15% but this is set by the server admin the way they advance is random
