Yeah but then again could as a mod to pin it at the top of the forum.  So it can stay there for awhile.

SFC3.NET 4 Corners gets my official vote with honorable mention going to Triangle X.

After I try out Chris Jones' ReBalancing Mod Server, I just might have a new favorite.  Jury's still out though...

The Raspberry Award goes to any and all Activision servers.  They are effectively unmoderated, and reset every couple of days.  That's not fun when I can't get into a nicely equipped D'deridex (I do have a life, you know).  Dishonorable mention goes to all those 'Venus Fly Trap' Servers.  You know the kind; they're set up to give one empire a massive advantage over every other.  A fact they just 'forget' to mention until your FF gets smoked by a Uber Defiant.

SFC3.NET 4 Corners also gets my vote.  The admins actually deals with trouble makers.

Interesting, GFL has the most votes (at the time I post this), but no one has mentioned it yet.
The GFL public server has been the best server I've played on so far.  The rules are good, and help make sure troublemakers don't last, since they do get banned for violations.  The server can get laggy, but that's only when it is near capacity (which, sadly, is most of the time ).

The only problem I find with 4 corners, is that the starting PP is too high.  I like to work for the big ships, not have one given to me right out of the academy.  Well, I suppose, I'm klingon and enjoy the struggle.  Lazy feds that create and maintain the server obviously enjoy the candy cane lane way.

PS-If you get upset over that comment, you're taking yourself way to seriously.

I have to go for Assimiliation, with nods to the GFL and SFC.net servers.

Worst part about starting with larger ships and huge prestige is that people get even more protective of their ships and are unwilling to risk them.  That and driving along in the galaxy where everyone is in a BC/DN in just a few days or so is rather sour....

Go expensive big ships!  CA's should be the mainstay of a fleet and be the plateau for all but the most addicted of players
