Was playing around with the render action in max, and came up with this. The UES YORKTOWN and UES AMARILLO, while on patrol, find themselves face -to-face with a Romulan "CABBAGE" Class cruiser. The background is an image of the Eta-Car Nebula from nasa.com. What do you think?

BTW, 800x600 size. 1024x768 is available on request.

Looks cool, if you had a Powhattan then it could be like the Romulans were attaking the Yorktown while it was on assignement? (Powhattans were the Yorktowns escorts)

Oh well, that Romulan ship is done for, even one of the Yorktown's fighters could take it on.

True. Earth did have an edge in technology, even with the plasma canon the Cabbage had, it was point, shoot and pray. The minotaur was bad little mamma jamma .

BTW Sandman, did you ever consider putting a subtle aztec on that Cabbage, it just doesn't compare to the Yorktown without it, the model's a beaut but the textures look very matt at the moment, seriousyl I think that would really bring it to life.

Since the concesus is for azrecing the little grren monster, I shall. Beside, that's why you use layers...so you can fix something. Just have to get my green aztec from the D-5 I did, darken it up a little and insert. Eventually, I want to do a render like this one, but with a few more Rommys and a few fighters fluin' around...and of course, when I learn how to do it, laser canon fire.
