i wont release for download until i get the appropriate permissions.. i did use some of p81's excelsior, miranda and enterprise textures to help.. but quite a bit of this was done by my self.. (as some of you know, you cant just drop a texture on another model.. and much of it was hand done using similar stuff to what it looked like p81 had used)... i also have converted (and ill post later) the fcx and fdx from op to sfc3. i have renamed them the Prince of Whales (fcx) and Dorsetshire (fdx) class ships..

anyhow.. here are a few picts.. i dont have any from the original santa fe class.. but i think its a considerable upgrade.

Oooh, I like
Only problem is that it isn't the "Prince of Whales", it is the "Prince of Wales" - as in the country Wales, not the animal

No problemo
I was reading the thread on the SFC3.net forum that you linked to in your last post and I can honestly say, what on earth is the unregistered anonymous user going on about when he's talking about Dorset? lol
Granted Dorset is a county, but not all counties have shire as a suffix - but what really makes me laugh is that Dorchester is a town/city not a county, lol.

You can tell I am really bored now, can't you? lol

well, i am naming the class of ships after those who participated in the sinking of the bismark.. one is the price of wales and the other i thought was the dorsetshire. i might be wrong. going to have to do some research.

either way, those models will be out soon (probably tommorrow) - they are converted taldren models from op.. but of course these will be all nice and cuddley.. (their balance is geared for the tnz mod over all).

i am working on a release for the new jersey class bch for sfc3 (i have to get my photon fix) and an galaxy class improved.. those two, though, are more .gf hacks than models.. now if i can only learn how to model and kitbash ill be in luck.

Confused??

Sorry smiley--That was me!!!? I sort of correcred him on Wales but was not sure about the Dorsetshire or where ever. I was offering another suggestion. Though I admit i'm not sure of all the names of English counties. Can you ever forgive me???? LOL. Anyway great ships...Perhaps you can make a Bismarck put it as mirror universe or just a knicknamed Klingon ship or something??

well, hopefully p81 and mind blip will allow permission soon! if you want to email them for support, be my guest.

actually, i sent p81 pix so he can see that a good job was done. not that all are his textures - but some are and credit must be given!

I thought that looked a bit moindblip-ish...lol...esp that deflector. It sorta resembles the ashton class anyways.
