A small OP single player campaign problem
« on: July 17, 2003, 08:25:28 pm »
It has been a LONG time since I have played a single player campaign, but I thought I try one with the new patch and OP+ shiplist. Strangely enough, when I click on single player campaign, I crash to desktop. I never noticed this before and I have played single player campaigns back when OP first came out.

Does anyone else have this problem and more importantly, does anyone know how to fix it? Thanks.

Did you just patch? Delete your old savegames.
MetaAssets/db/* must go!

Firesoul, which files should I delete?

In MetaAssets/db/* there is a file called Sfc25pd.sds

Should I delete that?

In MetaAssets/db/saves/autosaves there are four files. They are;

camp.info
db.info
Sfc25pd.sds
version.info

Should these stay or go?

Thanks for your help!

The file In MetaAssets/db/*  called Sfc25pd.sds is the one it's definitely chocking on during startup.

Inside the Saves folder should be a folder for each save game containing the four files
you describe.

Since your saves are incompatible, the safest and quickest thing to do is just delete all
the contents of the MetaAssets/db/ directory.

Thanks,

Dave
