Now that is too cool!

3 minutes into the software, and I've rendered my 1st  image .

10 minutes later, I've reworked the land, moved the sun, changed the tone of the sky, changed the water, killed the waves, and moved the camera for the  2nd

Are other rendering programs this easy to manage?

now if we can find one that would do space images it would be perfect. thats what i'm looking for. one to make all my beauty shots with. hopefully some one has the space one already or knows where to get one.

i have been playing around with a planet-making tutorial that also explains how to make space scenes. I have experimented with a plugin in TG that allows you to make space scenes but so far my attempts are the works of a determined amateur.

Not that Reverend would know anything about such miscreat behavior, but a little birdie showed me a way to register it so that you can have planets and stars....

I must say that Universe Image Creator is the exact mixture of simplicity and functionality that makes it perfect for me. Terragen leans a bit more towards 3DMax than Milkshape, but it still seems to be perfect for what it's made for. Turns out some very realistic renders.
