Very nice model Magnum. Others have offered suggestions to what this ship could be exactly; for some reason, it strikes me as a good candidate for a 1st generation X-ship hull.

Actually, I have some other ideas in what I want the Federation CX to look like.  I will look a little more advanced then even this one, but that is down the road a bit.  

I wasn't going to say nothing, but I will say it now just for the record.  I'm also planning to make X-ships someday that will look more advanced then this ship, and I'm planning to make some Early years ships too (in SFB, that would be in the time period of Y75 to Y100).  The Early Era ships will look a little less advanced then the Heavy Crusier posted and might have some TOS elements implemented in their designs.  You might get to what I mean when I get to the Fedeartion Old Light Crusier design.  I haven't been working on the model yet, but the Old CL will have a "Early Years" version with old style Warp Engines and an "Advanced Version" will have engines much like what we see with this CA.
