Ok guys here is the link to see a Pic of the new ship I created with Milkshape. The Textures are kinda crude but this is just version 1.0 of the model. This is long URL so I hope this works. just click on SFB FCA... to see a bigger pic.

Hey, that's pretty nice! If I may, its been a very long time since the SFC community has seen a SFB style Federation carrier!

Any chance you will tackle the Napoleon and MacArthur SFB Fed Carriers? Personally, I'd like to see them made for TMP LOL.

Hey Klingon Fanatic, yes I'm planning to do just about ever SFB ship that came with SFB's "Basic Set", "Advanced Missions", and the Race Modules. I might even tackle the Early Years, and X ships but I don't have much material on those. I might make a CVS but I don't have much on Carrier Data because I never got Module J for SFB.

So are you guys able to get the models? I wasn't sure, I posted at a Yahoo group for SFC Models. you might need a password to access the site. Let me see if this will work again.

Then, type in the following User name and Password...

User Name: doofas357
Password: doofas

Then, go to the left side of the webpage and click "Files". That should lead you to the directory where a file called "1fca.zip". Just click that file and start downloading the model.

SFC1 versions of the model!! Thank you very much! (Not that I don't play EAW/OP, but I still play SFC1, as well!)... you and Wicked Zombie, help to keep SFC1 still going strong, too!

Never really got into SFB, but the more I see of these ships, the more I like them. Anyone have a link to pics of the ships in SFB...I think I want to try my hand at one ore ten.

Thanks for the help Sandman. I'm glad some people do like my ship. I plan to make more ships like this (kitbashes, whole new ships) for SFB. Not sure if the SFB crowed will like them or not, but I'm glad a few will. Right now I'm focusing on the SFB Feds for now, then later I will move on to Romulans. But I don't know if anyone will like my Rom designs. I've notieced that Thu11's Romulans and ISC are outstanding and might put my models to shame. As for pics of SFB ships, just to let you know they look pretty much look like TOS ships then TMP/TNG vessels. That is why I wanted to tackle SFB ships, I thought they needed a "little face" lift in my opinion.

I personally love it...It is believable
I would imagine a ship with those thick proportions to be a really DEEP SPACE explorer
or a system defender...I personally like the first idea of an explorer...going further thatn anyone
has done so before...needing extra room for labs and supplies and weapons to defend herself

Hey Magnum!

Thought your ship was worthy of page one.

I've been using your creation alongside Mackie's Galahad and P81's Enterprise. They're a sweet looking combo.

I would really like to see you take this idea further (variants of this present model, light cruisers, dreadnoughts, etc.) You have a unique looking style that really have growth fond of.

I'd really like to see what you could do with the Asia Class (you can find her at the Starfleet Museum and the Refit version over at Ex Asteris Scientia.)

Yes, I definitly plan to make variants of this design (like Light Crusiers, Destroyers/Heavy Friagates, Frigates, DN's, etc.) but it will take some time. I'm also going to do the other races in SFC:OP with designs that follow a similar design concept as this Federation Heavy Crusier. I'm also even thinking of making up some races of my own design, but again this is waaaaayyyy down the road.

As for this model, better pick it up fast because I'm going to delete the links and passwords to this model. the administrator at the site doesn't want me to publically post my Password and user name. Makes sense too, its just not a good idea to have it public otherwise people might get me in trouble.

I'm planning to still build my models, but for now, I will have to resort in people giving me their e-mail address so I can send it too them until I figure out how to make my own website. When a model is ready, I will post a notify message if people want a copy of it.

Again, glad to see some people actually do like the design.

Hey bud, I'll have that info to you soon so you can post on your geocities site. You can leave the ship on the group though...people will just have to join the group, and I'm an easy admin...no spam or a bunch of worthless messages.

The only problem with geohell is the size limit on your storage...but you can always open another one.

Thanks Sandman. I think I will just upload the models when they come on your website, it would just be easier for me that way then trying to send e-mails to everyone. I guess if people want the models, they will have to become members or something.

Also, do you think you can post an image of each model when I get them posted? Just one screen shot would be enough if people want to go through trying to get it at the webstie. I'm really grateful that you posted the pics of the Heavy Crusier on this post Sandman. I think a lot of people appreciate it.

Why not become a member? Its worth it too me; beside, its not like you are charging for it.... its worth it to me anytime, to get that neat of a ship, and also be part of a ST organization for free!

That's what I made the group for. If anyone needs a place to put models for d/l, they can put them there. As reverend said, it's free, and really, most people have at least one yahoo account...it's quick and easy to join the group, costs nothing and it's open to anyone. Plus, since I've decided to concentrate on the "older" ships, if you want or need an older style, you'll be able to find it pretty easy (if I've done it yet that is...or someone else posts one).

BTW, Magnum, chk your e-mail (daniel5042), I sent you something that might help with your geocities site.
