can someone PLEASE post a link to downloading the most recent sfc2 patch that does NOT involve use of gamespy or whatever the hell it called that requires membership, PLEASE! I OWNED THE GAME FOR TWO DAMN YEARS AND SPENT TWO DAMN YEARS LOOKING FOR INFO ON HOW TO GET ONTO ITS MULTIPLAYER GAME! BUT I GET [censored]!

File planet works for me when I need it to, and costs me as much as I want to pay for it (ie nothing).

Two years is a long time to spend looking for something on the internet. Are you sure your modem was plugged in and turned on?

Unfortuately, short of advertising you IP address, you need the Gamespy Arcade Membership. That AD-Supported membership will get you in Fileplanet, GSA, and D2 with one login.

I know when I first tried to download something from there I thought I didn't want to pay to download either but if you page down a bit you'll see that there are free public servers listed after the pay for use servers. Use these and they are free.
