There is the TNZ mod at http://www.battleclinic.com/v8/, or try the Dominion Mod at http://www.sfc3files.com/sort.files?cat=943&ref=0.... both are hard-working droids, and will serve you well.

I don't know how to do it but,  Dominion Wars has a nine race map, if you contact the guy who made it,  The_Pelican , he might be able to give you a hand.

it isn't nine playble races- it isn't possible. you can add extra races to your already playble races, as in TNZ, otherwise, it just isn't possible.; sorry- it is disheartening.

9 playable races no, but you can add up to 5 AI races.

Ah-ha! Then that has some freedom to it- again, play his Dominion Mod- it has the exta races you seek, and it is pretty dificult trying to make it yourself- the Pelican has mstered it... so I suggest giving Dominion Wars a try, so you can see what you wanted to.

Plus, if you really do want to make your own mod, then using my working 9 race setup as an example will help you, if you need any specific help, then you can always e-mail me at thepelican001@btopenworld.com

Yes, I can attest- I have been attempting to monkey with his also, so that I may have a better understanding- go ahead and try it, the Pelican is always very helpful and very prompt.

Ive downladed Dominion wars mod. Althougth all the hardpoint for the ships dont appear for me i think its rather good. I edited the federation down so really its just the ships u c in the show pluss the archiells. I really wanna add Star Wars empires to it. So it would be (Intersteller Alinace, Shadows, Rebal Alince, Imperials, Dominion, borg, Klingon, Federation and the roms. I just dont know how to do it. I need help to do it. If i used dominion was as a basis i could. Do any of u know where to get starwars ships from?

I found out you cannot change ANY of the governments names. I have had undending amounts of troubles adding ships in... like changing the Rakellians to the Shadows.. that worked... the Dominion/Cardassians are already there, and so are the Species 8472. I cannot seen to change the Neutral over to Vulcan ships too well, nor replacing the gay Ferengi with Gorn and some assorted others...stupid Pirates work jjust fine, no matter what I do.
as far as making a new map, there is a program called Artifex, but its damned near impossible to make a map work.

I don't know why the hardpoints don't show up for you, I spent god knows how many hours doing them, and they show up for everyone else who plays the mod. You sure you got the latest version, v3.05?

http://www.pwfe.com/domwars

And no, you cannot edit any of the SHORT Empire Names, but you can edit the Long Names without any problems. If you can cope with the short empire names being wrong, then you'll be okay.

Just e-mail me if you have any real problems.

Pelican- some of my hardpoints don't show, and I know you've spent many many hours on it.  Wonder what I can do? Perhaps re-installing? There are a lot of things to enact, it seems a careful balance, especialy when I change out the already existing ships for different ones. Maybe I'm doing too much, but I don't know how or why. You're sure that the hardpoints dont have anything to do with whats on the model, right? I think even you would appreciate the setup I was working towards...
