Space Fog

Does anyone know how to eliminate what I call the "Space Fog" from EAW?  It's that gray, hazy cloud-stuff that helps define the 2D plane of travel.  I find it visually distracting, and since my graphics card has never displayed illumination maps properly, I'm forced to keep the ambient light level a bit high.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

It's been quite a while since i had to worry about it but its definately a texture fix. I think its the 'spacedust" texture that needs to be re-colored totally black to eliminate the problem. Its been a while since I had EAW installed and it doesn't seem to be a problem in OP . Back-up your texture and try it.

Qob'noh's suggestion will work. One can also open their SFC.ini file and set spacedust=0 instead of 1. Many neat little things in the SFC.ini. Many of which are self explained.
