I am not looking for starfleet museum ships, that's too old, more like deadalus, or the discovery found on cleeves staryards site, the ones that look sorta tos but older. However, 2 ships and an NX-01 is a bit boring. I am wonder if anyone out there knows where I might find a pile of similar ships? Or even just 1 here and there...

i certainly would like to model such ships but dont have the skills to texture, maybe you should ask Atolm if he would model you a couple, me thinks his skills are such to fit that kinda jobs just fine

I have a Daedalus that I meshed out and Pataflafla textured way back when we both started on this hobby. If you'd like it, email me and I'll send it post haste. Also have the USS WASP, the 3 nacelled replacement for the Daedalus. I'll post a pic of the Daedalus, but here is a 5 view I did of the Wasp.

Nice Wasp, though I think the later version looks better - it was meant to have the nacelles that went on the Moskva, but they didn't arrive in time so they used some old nacelles and added a third one to compensate for the power loss, but it didn't work LOL.

What I'd really like to see is some high-res high-poly feds from the SF museum, like the Valley Forge, or the Lancaster, the Paris, etc. They're all great designs and it's a shame they haven't got high detail models in SFC (I know Anduril did some but they are getting on a bit now, as in they're dead now - no offense Anduril) judging from your other models I think you'd do a damn fine job Makotokat.

thunderchild got a load of SFC museum [censored] from "dead meat" There's archer, torsk, yorktown, tannenhouse, pioneer, armarillo and 2 romulans and he's going to mod them for BC. I just ported them all for him. I would love to see someone do the fireball.

The current mod I am digging ships up for is brandonj's early tos mod, he does not like darkdrones pre-tos or ships similar to the wasp. To be honest, I really not interested in those ingame either, but I like to look at them. He's more itnerested in deadalus (and variants of) and foreward, but before kirk. (in the style of cleeves discovery class)

I was hoping there would be more of those style ships available, but I guess not. Oh well, it's yielded some other interesting things in the process, terradyhe's sent me renders of 3 rommie classes we're interested in. And mako's fleet of kitbashes.

Take them if you want them! I've got one more, The Oberon class, which is a carrier that I never quite released because I was waiting for my shuttles to be finished. I'll dredge that one up if you want. It's kind of a proto-miranda.

hey mako, I was checking out yur beagle class, and it doesn't seem to be part of the starfleet museum. I assume it to be a custom design? Anyways, in terms of size, which one of the "cannon" museum ships is closest to the Beagle's size?

Oh yes she's custom. She's a light exploration/patrol cruiser, a bit smaller than the amarillo class. I'm afraid I have no internet connection at home at the moment(New house.....some bugger dug up my cable and tore it apart) What format do you want the Oberon in....MOD, 3DS, COB???

Honest SF I'm working on it! Reinstalled truespace but it's not recognizing my files??? I think it's a directory problem and I'll let you know. Just a wee bit busy right now.....Just moved into my first house....geting married in 20 days.....and my computer is still acting up! I'll keep you appraised!

I'll wait for the lighting to be done. It's not rush anyways. I still gotta get ships from a couple other people, and so far we've got no klingons, and only 2 romulan (or 3) possibilites from terradyne (which I still need to get). No point in doing a early tos mod without something to shoot at
