SFC2 and SFC3

Im currently on a PlanetSide binge...hehe

But ultimately Im developing my own game...

What type of game are you developing? Sorry to hear that you are loosing interestin in SFC. I myself am getting tired of SFC3 only because their are hardly any gamers that play serious game on GSA (I can't play on D3).

Would be nice if some people organized a war on GSA (no Dynaverses) for SFC1. I've been playing that game constantly and love it! I remember a few years ago when SFC1 came out that people where trying to make a website where you could engage in a F & E style game, but their was no Dyaniverse.

Advantages to this was that it would allow for lots of flexibility and conduct and actual war based on SFB timeline (lots could be down with this, maybe even custom sripted missiosns that were written souly for Skimish mode SFC1). Disadvantages, would require some work by a webmaster to coordianate the project.

Peronally though, I don't see it being too difficult, those guys probably just should have sticked with the old SFB War Campaing rules in the Advanced Missions rule book (with their own house rules of course).

Boring? SFC3's mod servers don't seem boring to those who play on it - quite a following I see in the forum (I'm only going from forum posts here - I stopped playing SFC3 after a week). As for SFC2/OP, those who play on there don't find it boring either.

I just had a cool battle on SG3 server. My Lyran BCP+ v a Gorn DNF and a DDF. Far from boring, had me on the edge of my seat, with ebbs and flow in how the battle went.

SFC is far from boring, for me and many others here. It may get stale every now & then, but a little break and back I come raring for more. Coming up to my 3rd year online playing it in August - been time very well spent, and for very little financial outlay. Thanks Taldren for what you've made for us so far, PLEASE continue to add to it. It rocks and deserves to get even better!

Don't give up on F&E style D2. Some of us are still working on it.
Right now, the only product that has workable mechanics is EaW's D2.
SQL is the only way to add tools that we need.

Hint: There are 2 EaW servers that are my test-beds...Fed-Kli 1 and Fed-Rom 1.
